Get Involved

We here at Brunswick United Methodist Church believe that there are many ways to serve and be involved in the life of the congregation. No matter what your gifts and talents may be we want to help you find a group that meets your needs. We'd be more than happy to work with you to find that perfect match if you are looking to get more involved.

Chancel Choir

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir sings at our Sunday services at 10am. This group offers up choral repertoire in many different styles--classical, spirituals, contemporary, hymn arrangements, folk, world, gospel and others. The choir sings September through May. All are welcome to join! What is the commitment? The choir meets Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the downstairs music room.

Bell Choir

Church Bells

Ringing in the Good News is the Brunswick Bells handbell choir. Brunswick Bells is a three octave handbell and chime group and they would love to have you come ring! All levels of musical skill are welcome. Brunswick Bells meets Wednesday evenings from September through May at 6pm in the music room downstairs.

United Methodist Women in Faith (UMF)

Smiling Volunteers

United Methodist Women in Faith (UMF) is a congregational group, as well as a national and international organization. The purpose of UMF is to know God and experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

  • Martha Martha Circle meets the 4th Wednesday of each month, usually at noon at a member’s home.

  • Elizabeth Circle meets the 4th Wednesday of each month 7pm in the Wesley room

  • UMWF Board Meetings are the second Monday of each month at 7pm in the Wesley room

Caring Ministry

Old and Young

The Caring Ministry actively lives out service by visiting and making phone calls to provide a loving connection for those unable to attend services; sending cards for ongoing support in times of illness and loss as well as cards and notes of encouragement; and holding Northridge Nursing Home communion services--three services per year with fellowship time.

Sunday School

We are always in need of people who can share their time with God's most young and curious of learners. By teaching Sunday school you are committing your time to the future generations of the church. No experience is necessary. Come share your gifts with our kids!

If you are interested in serving in any of these Ministries, send an email to office@brunswicklife.org.
